Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 2026-09-30
We respect your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods.
1. Self-Service: Delete Your Account
You can delete your account in the current creator's workspace through the app:
- Log in to your account at app.idun.blue.
- Go to Settings (or Account).
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion.
This removes or de-identifies the records covered by the account deletion process and ends access in that workspace. It does not automatically delete your memberships with other creators, every mention of you in someone else's content, or all AI history. Contact the creator or [email protected] for a review of the remaining personal data.
2. Request Via Email
If you are unable to access your account, you can request data deletion by email:
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account.
We will respond within 30 days. After verifying the request, we will explain what was removed or de-identified, what needs further review, and any records that must be retained.
3. Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Data
If you connected your Instagram or Facebook account to Idun Blue:
- Disconnecting your social media account in the app deletes its stored access token, connected-account identifiers and associated Meta data from active systems.
- Removing Idun Blue's authorization in Meta or initiating a data deletion request through Meta automatically removes the access token, account identifiers, insights, comments, message data, automation records and raw Meta payloads associated with that connected account.
- Creator-authored drafts may remain in Idun Blue, but they are detached from the deleted account and stripped of Meta-returned links and errors.
- You can also remove Idun Blue's access from your Meta Business Integrations settings.
4. What Account Deletion Covers
The self-service process is scoped to your membership in the current workspace. It includes:
- Removing or de-identifying profile details for that membership. A shared sign-in identity can remain while you have other active memberships.
- Removing covered learning data, including progress, notes and reflections, and ending active enrollment access.
- Hiding community posts and comments and removing covered messages and participation records. Additional content erasure may require the creator's review.
- Unsubscribing linked contacts, de-identifying their contact details and removing covered notification and session data.
AI conversations, saved memories, action records and references in other people's content need separate review where they contain your personal data. Connected social accounts have their own disconnection and deletion process, described above. Ask for a full access or erasure review if the self-service process does not cover your request.
5. What We Retain
Some records remain after account deletion, for legal obligations or limited disaster recovery:
- Transaction records — purchase history and invoice data are retained for 7 years as required by Swedish bookkeeping regulations (Bokföringslagen).
- Legal obligations — data required for legal proceedings or regulatory compliance.
- Encrypted backups — recovery copies are isolated from normal processing and follow the backup retention periods in the privacy policy. Individual records are not removed from every existing backup when an account is deleted.
Retained data is stored securely and is not used for any other purpose.
